Mom's WICKED GOOD Blueberry Buckle RecipeBy Popular demand, here is my Mother's AWESOME Blueberry Buckle recipe, for those of you who are not familiar with Blueberry Buckle (poor unfortunates, probably johhny reb's) it is a New England traditional dessert made with blueberries and resembles a very thick moist cake with a crumb topping. And yes it is WICKED GOOD! Blueberry Buckle Crumb Topping Instructions; Combine all Buckle ingredients except berries in a large mixing bowl, mix well, (I love my Big Honkin' Kitchen Aid Mixer!!!!) , when ingredients are mixed add in berries slowly to avoid bruising them, mix well. Pour into 9" x 9" baking pan. Place all ingredients of the crumb topping in medium mixing bowl, mix well, be sure to break down the butter/sugar clumps into very tiny clumps (close to pea size if you can). When well mixed spread evenly over Buckle Mix. Place into 375f degree oven for approx 35 minutes, when a knife in the middle comes out clean, or very close too, its done, cool and enjoy! Note; To make a 9" x 13" pan of this goodness, just double the above recipes!

Looks stupendous and certainly a match for my Mom's cobbler recipe. Us'n's down here gots Cobbler...not Buckle.
We need photos of this! Consider this bookmarked...I just need to come up with an appropriately Johnny Reb name to give it to pass it off down here.
